Through the Queens of Farms groups—each bringing together 40 to 50 women farmers—Her Farm Her Story is building something far more powerful than just agricultural training. We are creating circles of solidarity, where women who were once isolated in their struggles are now connected, seen, and empowered.
So far, we have established 5 strong Queens of Farms groups, with a total of 210 women actively participating. These are not passive members—they are women who are: ✅ Sharing real-life farming knowledge that works in their local context ✅ Supporting each other emotionally and practically through challenges like land insecurity, climate shocks, and family pressure ✅ Building confidence to speak up, make decisions about what to plant, when to sell, and how to invest in their farms ✅ Shifting their mindset from “helpers on someone else's land” to leaders of their own farming enterprises.
These groups serve as safe spaces for knowledge exchange and emotional resilience, where women who were once silenced are now leading discussions on climate-smart practices, financial inclusion, and even land rights.
For many of these women, this is the first time they’ve been part of a structured farming group where their voice holds equal weight, and where they are seen not just as laborers—but as entrepreneurs, producers, and decision-makers.
This is how Her Farm Her Story is solving problems: Not only by giving tools and training—but by building community, courage, and confidence—the roots of lasting transformation.
